Breitling Watches

Introduction

Throughout the years different models have been produced that retain the aviation features of the initial purpose design of the watches. Today however these functions tend to be mostly symbols of quality than actual function. Many factors contribute to the expensive price tag on their watches including exclusivity, a 38 jewel self winding movement and the casing of the watch which can be titanium and gold. Some models have also included a diamond embedded face.

The Breitling brand, according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breitling), has released several models, the most popular of which that have stood the test of time have been the Navitimer Model and the Breitling Emergency model. There have been several other additional models released over the years including the Chronomat, the Breitling for Bentley Motors model and the Breitling Super Avenger.  All Breitling models can be recognised by their typically large diameter watch face, which was necessary for when their use was primarily for aviation. Even though this is no longer the main use for the watch it had retained this element as an individual style component to the brand.
